Luxurious Western Plains Wedding

Another Styled Shoot and this one was put together by The Shootout Society! The theme for this styled shoot was a “Luxurious Western Plains Wedding”. It was located at The Bonnie Blues Event Venue. (Which is essentially out of the middle of nowhere but with the prettiest dreamiest views)

I’d had my eye on The Shootout Society for months and was so excited to work with them! If you’ve never heard of them, get your butt on Insta and follow them RIGHT NOW! It’s run by some really amazing photographers that host and produce styled shoots all over the country.

I told my husband that I wanted to try and do at least 2 of these shoots a year. (Ideally, I’d like to do, well, ALL of them) but baby steps, people. When they posted some of their upcoming spring sesh’s, I jumped at the one that would be not only the closest but give me a fun little vacay for a few days. Denver, Colorado for the win!

If you’ve never been, add it to your list of places to visit. Seeing the gorgeous Rocky Mountains everyday was the best thing about the trip. You can’t beat the scenic views, country road drives and abundance of outdoor activities. I went with my sister and we decided our short stay was not enough. A trip back is in order with a huge list of activities to check off the list.

One of the coolest things about A Shootout Society shoot is you’re working alongside other amazing photographers from all over the country. I met ladies from Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, California, Nashville, Texas, as well as some other Colorado natives. It was such a neat way to come together, get a couple hours of amazing content, and a once in a lifetime experience.

It was my first time shooting with them and it def won’t be my last!
